International calling at local rate - RINGO

International calling at local rate - RINGO

International calls have always been expensive. With many people going out for studies & job, calling has also gone up. Telecom companies have analysed this and increase the fare of international calling.

Viber and other app came to the rescue by giving calls for free by using internet. Recenty Airtel & other telecom discontinued data plan to be available when you use internet. This means that the customer have to pay 4ps 10kb and one call of 2 min will be charged at around Rs.4 plus for the data.

Ringo has come up with innovative service where you don"t need internet like viber does and still you can make international call at local rate. When a customer makes a call from Ringo app, a local call is done to ringo server which than connect it to the international call. So you call international call at local rate.

I think it is an innovative strategy. Lets see whether the telecom company react to this or no. They can make a rule where they charge ringo calls at international rates.
